Someone please clean this up and fill in the missing details:


In the briefing:

  • Beeping in the video
  • Flash at the end - STFT (Short Time Fourier Transform)
  • Backdoor RYGB on ms-randd.com
  • thing.pdf, which we had with the miniheist earlier, so we had already figured out it folds to a cootie catcher ( www.yasutomo.com/project/fortuneteller.html )

Decoding the beeping in the briefing video:

Use program Raven - http://www.birds.cornell.edu/brp/raven/Raven.html - to decode the beeping in the briefing (use wiretrap to record the beeping parts while waiting Raven to download) -- You need the STFT in here.

You'll get "thegardenofforkingpaths" which obviously leads to http://www.thegardenofforkingpaths.com

Solving the 2D Maze

Trace and write down the letters, note that the maze changes when you mouse over it. http://www.thegardenofforkingpaths.com/maze.jpg

If you "decode" the numbers with the CC you get: Sword pinions of racks Bow racks balls and Hammer and pinions balls

Last number reveals the answer: - Play 1: 5 -> Racks - Play 2: 1 -> And - Play 3: 2 -> Balls

Explanation from BigSim: "At racksandballs.com, the actual numbers on the balls represent what order they should be in. Once they're reordered, the numbers that match the real colours give you the ms-randd.com code 427631"

MS Rand site

At http://ms-randd.com/ Use the RYGB (flower petals) to get to input the code. Redirects to http://ms-randd.com/internal/

3D Maze 1

Now you use the remote (you got with your newish computer/appleTV) to navigate the 3D maze and note the letters on the walls: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b127/salamence502/Picture7.png ->

  • G Green
  • A Red
  • T Blue
  • C Yellow

.. I don't have a working IR, so can't test the maze, but: "You use the remote to navigate through the ms-randd.com/internal maze. After writing down the letters on the walls in the maze, it leads to http://purinesandpyrimidines.com/"

RNA/DNA site

  • 1. Color match the letters from the Maze.
  • 2. Divide them to blocks of three.
  • 3. Decode them with an amino acids table.

3D Maze 2

Use the darkness map:

After completing the 3D Maze, it redirects to: http://ms-randd.com/root/. Use the command from the briefing, watch what happens, and go get your loot.

If it doesn't work, try it in Safari.
